Hodgson Legal congratulates client Miguel on five Grammy nominations for the 2013 Grammy Awards.   Miguel’s song “Adorn” is nominated for song of the year in the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, as well as best R&B performance and best R&B song.

Miguel calls his sound “dangerous and scandalously romantic.” His “Kaledioscope Dream” album debuted in September 2012 at No. 3, and was also listed in New York Magazine’s Top 10 album list of 2012. 

Miguel has had success as both an artist and a writer  for other artists.  Miguel is that unique artist who knows himself as an artist and has a clear vision of himself:

 I want commercial success without sacrificing creativity…I don’t think I have to choose one or the other.

Hodgson Legal client Calcareous Vineyards of Paso Robles, CA hosted its annual Harvest Fest Vintner’s Dinner on Saturday, October 20th.  Cheryl Hodgson and Dana Brown enjoyed the food and outstanding new releases by the winery.

While attending Hay House Publishing‘s I CAN DO IT! Pasadena event, Cheryl Hodgson visited with Dr. Patricia Crane and Rick Nichols who lead the world wide licensing program for Hay House HEAL YOUR LIFE® teacher training.

The Hodgson firm developed a global trademark licensing program for the HEAL YOUR LIFE workshop leaders, who train based upon the principle and teachings of founder Louise Hay.

Congratulations to artist, actor and filmmaker Kandeyce Jorden on her successful DARK STAR Art Show. It seemed much of the Venice art community and all of the paparazzi were in attendance for the Market Street art show and gallery party. Also present was Cheryl Hodgson, founder of Hodgson Legal and an active member in the Los Angeles arts and entertainment scene.
