Trademark Registration for Your Website

August 14, 2015

One of the most common ways to establish trademark rights is through Internet sales of goods and services. However, in order to qualify for a federal trademark registration based upon use on a website, you must follow technical requirements.  For example, in order for Internet sales to serve as proof of trademark usage at the Trademark Office the mark must be used in an online store where the products are sold.

Trademark attorneys Cheryl Hodgson and Bill Finkelstein discuss this issue.
